My Story

For most of my life, I believed the next accomplishment would finally make me feel like I'd arrived. I chased opportunities, collected degrees, moved across the country more than once, built my career in New York City, led incredible teams, and eventually became Chief Operating Officer of a multi-million dollar company. From the outside, my life looked successful. And in many ways, it was. I learned more than I ever imagined, met extraordinary people, and accomplished goals I had dreamed about for years.

But underneath all of it was a quiet question I couldn't ignore: Is this really me?

In 2023, during a camping trip, I had a profoundly spiritual experience that changed the direction of my life. I didn't leave the woods with a business plan or a new career path, but I left with a feeling I couldn't explain and one phrase that kept returning to me: DRAFT. Deeply Rooted And Forever Transforming.

At first, I had no idea what it was supposed to become. I simply followed where it led. I immersed myself in psychology, neuroscience, meditation, shadow work, coaching, astrology, tarot, and the ways people reconnect with themselves. I spent more time outdoors than ever before, paying attention to the rhythms of nature and how they reflected my own inner life. At the same time, I began exploring my Indigenous heritage. While reconnecting with those roots, I came across an Algonquian teaching that identity is not something fixed, but something that continues to unfold throughout our lives.

Something clicked.

I realized I had spent years trying to find myself when perhaps I was never meant to arrive at one final version of who I was. Maybe identity wasn't something to discover once. Maybe it was something to participate in, again and again. That idea became the foundation of DRAFT.

As I developed what would become the DRAFT Process, I encountered an uncomfortable truth: I wasn't fully living the philosophy I was writing about. I loved leadership, strategy, and helping businesses grow. But I no longer wanted to spend my life building dreams that didn't feel like my own. I wanted my work to directly help people reconnect with themselves, navigate change, and build lives that felt deeply aligned with who they were becoming.

So I made one of the hardest decisions of my life. I left my career as a COO, moved to the mountains of New Jersey, bought a home surrounded by nature, and committed myself to building DRAFT.

Today, my days look very different.

You'll usually find me creating guided meditations, reflection exercises, rituals, coaching programs, and educational resources inspired by both psychology and my own spiritual practice. But you'll also find me watching football and basketball, reading psychology research, diving into business strategy and finance, gardening, hiking, kayaking, swimming, traveling, exploring local breweries and wineries, and finding joy in the ordinary moments that make a life feel whole.

Because DRAFT was never meant to be about becoming a different person. It's about making space for every part of yourself. The spiritual and the scientific. The ambitious and the peaceful. The version still healing and the version already thriving.

I didn't create DRAFT because I have everything figured out. I created it because I wanted a way to stay committed to my own journey of becoming. I'm still writing my next draft. This business is still writing its next draft. And if you're here, maybe you're ready to begin writing yours, too.

Welcome to DRAFT.
